Manager QC/Programs & Planning-Wichita, KS

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible to develop and implement a company Required Inspection Item (RII) program.
  • Responsible to develop and implement a company Airworthiness Release program
  • Responsible to develop and maintain Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Programs (CAMP) for company aircraft to operate under 10 seats or more authority.
  • Responsible to maintain OEM maintenance programs in the appropriate tracking system for company and managed aircraft.
  • Responsible to work with Maintenance Control to ensure all scheduled (Planned) maintenance can be accomplished in a timely manner by ensuring that required parts, equipment and manpower are available to accomplished tasks in order to ensure maximum availability of company aircraft for scheduled operations. .
  • Develop and monitor long range plan for replacement of high value Rotable components (engines, propellers, APUs, landing gear, etc.)
  • Responsible to work with Quality Assurance to ensure all applicable Airworthiness Directives are loaded and tracking in the applicable aircraft maintenance tracking system.
  • Responsible to ensure each company aircraft maintenance program is accurately loaded and tracking correctly in the appropriate maintenance tracking system.
  • Develop long term maintenance plan
  • Monitors inspection compliance and component time changes and advises Maintenance and Quality Control in advance of their due dates.
  • Responsible to ensure that all approved aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) are current and in line with the current revision of the aircraft Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL).
  • Responsible for company correspondence to the aircraft Flight Operations Evaluation Board (FOEB) for any MMEL issues.
  • Responsible to ensure all company maintenance manuals are current and in compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration Regulations.
  • Responsible for the interface of manuals and procedures between Flight Operations
  • and maintenance departments
  • Performs other duties and assignments, as required.


  • Must have at least 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance management for QA or Maintenance departments.
  • In-depth knowledge in aircraft planning and process flows.
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance program development to include a solid understanding of MSG-3 based programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration Regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance & MRO Software tracking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

A&P Mechanic-Fort Worth, TX

To conduct or assist with all inspections and repairs on aircraft and aircraft sub-assemblies and perform required documentation, billing, regulatory, and other administrative tasks in adherence to company, customer, and FAA policies.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assists Maintenance Department Administrator and performs scheduled maintenance on aircraft, as assigned.
Participates in preplanning briefing to ensure complete understanding of the project work scope, man-hour availability, and projected completion date.

Ensures proper job planning so that parts and other resources are available in a timely manner to meet milestones and deadlines.
Ensures that any changes to the work scope are approved by the customer or supervisor and are accurately documented in a Change Order.
Responsible for on-time delivery and ensures that milestones and deadlines throughout the project are met.
Ensures that the aircraft is properly protected and that proper inspection and repair procedures are in place and followed to eliminate errors and incidents.
Endorses finished work.
Troubleshoots and repairs damaged, worn, or defective mechanical components.
Refers to maintenance manuals or other specifications to determine proper methods.
Demonstrates correct operational procedures with required tools and equipment.
Ensures that the work order is opened and updated throughout the project in a timely manner.
Ensures that squawks on work orders are accurate and descriptive.
Ensures that time billed to squawks on a work order via timesheets and parts billed are accurate, justified, and reasonable.
Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections on aircraft.
Ensures aircraft flight preparation.
Completes maintenance log entries (non CRS).
Reports discrepancies to Management and Director of Maintenance.
Documents maintenance activities.
Completes required paperwork.
Keeps records of materials used for accurate budgeting and analysis.
Assists with organization and order of facilities and work areas.
Observes current applicable FAA Regulations and complies with company safety policies and procedures.
Maintains general cleanliness of hangar, parts & tool rooms and ramp areas, including operation of hangar floor cleaning machine.
Provides flight operations support and customer assistance.
Marshalls departing and arriving aircraft safely.
Assists boarding and deplaning of passengers.
Promptly responds to customer requests and assists with baggage and vehicle movement.
Treats customers courteously and professionally.
Performs other duties and assignments, as required.

Requires a high school education or GED and an A&P certificate.  Five years’ minimum experience in general aviation maintenance or related field preferred.  Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
