Flight Control Scheduler - Kansas City

Executive AirShare is expanding its staff and is seeking qualified candidates for Fractional Flight Control Scheduler in Kansas City, MO.


A&P Mechanic-Kansas City, MO

To conduct or assist with all inspections and repairs on aircraft and aircraft sub-assemblies and perform required documentation, billing, regulatory, and other administrative tasks in adherence to company, customer, and FAA policies.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assists Maintenance Department Administrator and performs scheduled maintenance on aircraft, as assigned.
Participates in preplanning briefing to ensure complete understanding of the project work scope, man-hour availability, and projected completion date.

Ensures proper job planning so that parts and other resources are available in a timely manner to meet milestones and deadlines.
Ensures that any changes to the work scope are approved by the customer or supervisor and are accurately documented in a Change Order.
Responsible for on-time delivery and ensures that milestones and deadlines throughout the project are met.
Ensures that the aircraft is properly protected and that proper inspection and repair procedures are in place and followed to eliminate errors and incidents.
Endorses finished work.
Troubleshoots and repairs damaged, worn, or defective mechanical components.
Refers to maintenance manuals or other specifications to determine proper methods.
Demonstrates correct operational procedures with required tools and equipment.
Ensures that the work order is opened and updated throughout the project in a timely manner.
Ensures that squawks on work orders are accurate and descriptive.
Ensures that time billed to squawks on a work order via timesheets and parts billed are accurate, justified, and reasonable.
Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections on aircraft.
Ensures aircraft flight preparation.
Completes maintenance log entries (non CRS).
Reports discrepancies to Management and Director of Maintenance.
Documents maintenance activities.
Completes required paperwork.
Keeps records of materials used for accurate budgeting and analysis.
Assists with organization and order of facilities and work areas.
Observes current applicable FAA Regulations and complies with company safety policies and procedures.
Maintains general cleanliness of hangar, parts & tool rooms and ramp areas, including operation of hangar floor cleaning machine.
Provides flight operations support and customer assistance.
Marshalls departing and arriving aircraft safely.
Assists boarding and deplaning of passengers.
Promptly responds to customer requests and assists with baggage and vehicle movement.
Treats customers courteously and professionally.
Performs other duties and assignments, as required.

Requires a high school education or GED and an A&P certificate.  Five years’ minimum experience in general aviation maintenance or related field preferred.  Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.


Corporate Recruiter

Job purpose

To assist in the oversight of the Company’s employee recruiting process. The position will coordinate the hiring process from beginning to end; is responsible for identifying top talent, ensuring company cultural fit, and keeping candidates informed of the hiring process.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Gain a solid understanding of forecasted hiring needs and how they relate to the overall Company business goals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the primary departments of the Company.
  • Ensure that manager expectations of candidates are clearly identified in order to identify best fit for position.
  • Ensure that all positions have been approved at the appropriate level prior to starting the recruitment process.
  • Ensure that the job description for the position being recruited for is accurate.

2. Develop recruitment strategies to identify active and passive candidates through various sourcing methods.

  • Headhunt and build a network of potential candidates for Company open positions.
  • Identify candidates via multiple methods such as internet research, advertising, referrals, networking, industry groups/events, etc.
  • Attend college career fairs as needed to build network and familiarize potential candidates with the Company.

3. Screen and interview potential candidates to assess qualifications.

  • Have good understanding of minimum qualifications for positions being filled.
  • Develop and update screening questionnaires and other methods as needed.
  • Ensure that potential candidates have a clear understanding of the position and its requirements.

4. Recommend qualified candidates to managers, coordinate additional interviews, and facilitate selection process.

  • Ensure that candidates meet all position requirements.
  • Coordinate with managers on travel arrangements for candidates coming to interview.
  • Ensure that candidates provide completed application and any other required FAA forms as appropriate.
  • Follow up on references given by candidates as appropriate.

5. Assist with preparation, extending, and negotiating employment offers with collaboration and input from management team.

  • Coordinate with managers to ensure that offer letters are accurate on position title, start date, and any special language that may need to be added.
  • Coordinate with managers on extending offers regarding method (i.e. – telephonically, via email, or in person).
  • Ensure that all candidates interviewed but not extended an offer of employment receive a follow up letter.

6.  Perform other duties and assignments, as required.

  • As time permits, assist with other Human Resource duties and special projects.


Requires Bachelor’s degree in a human resources or Aviation related field. Minimum of 1 to 3 years related experience in Human Resources, with an expertise in the area of recruitment.  Must demonstrate ability to provide excellent customer service, superior computer and organizational skills, problem solve, and clearly present information.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strategic perspective are required.  Also requires mastery skills in MS Office and strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.  Experience with automated applicant tracking systems and Internet-based sourcing tools preferred.  Aviation industry knowledge helpful. Travel is estimated to be up to 50 percent.
