Director of Aviation/Pilot - Buffalo, NY

Summary of primary duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee and act as the primary operations contact to the BUF regional operation.
  • Ensures professional communication between flight control, aircare, pilots, and maintenance.
  • Finds and develops relationships with prospective managed aircraft customers in concert with the Director of Managed Aircraft.
  • Assists in the development and review for all contracts executed with managed aircraft owners and follows up to ensure proper maintenance and compliance of the contracts after execution.
  • Be available to discuss any questions managed aircraft owners may have regarding their aircraft in a timely and complete manner in concert with the Director of Managed Aircraft.
  • Oversees the BUF hangar/office facility.
  • Coordinates Business Development actions for existing, upcoming and potential flight management opportunities as required.
  • Compliance with FAR’s and Company policies and procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the entire contents of the Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, and FARs pertaining to Company Operations.
  • Ensures and verifies that Company flight operations are conducted in accordance with applicable FARs, TSA Directives and Company policies and procedures.
  • Acts as the Company’s liaison with NFTA and TSA for the BUF region.
  • Cultivate an environment where flight crew and maintenance respect and hold to company standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Work with Senior Management and Maintenance staff to coordinate deployment of improvements/modifications. Assist with employee evaluation and coaching as needed to ensure a professional environment.
  • Support the team as needed to ensure consistent level of customer service and proper company protocol.
  • Performs pilot-in-command or second-in-command duties, as needed.
  • Supports sales and marketing departments as needed.

Qualifications and requirements:

 Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate type ratings, a First Class Medical certificate, and a minimum of 2,000 flight hours, including 500 turbojet is preferred. 2 years’ experience as Pilot-in-Command of an aircraft operated under Part 121 or 135 preferred. Must have at least 3 year supervisory or managerial experience within the last 5 years. Extremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.  Team player is essential.  Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.

Flight Controller - Kansas City

Job purpose

To coordinate the aircraft and flight crew schedules that effectively meet aircraft owner and sales demonstration and/or charter operation purposes while developing strong working relationships with share owners and their planner with the goal to instill the utmost confidence and trust in the services of the Company.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Verify each flight on certified aircraft meet FAR Part 135/91K regulations for legal crew, aircraft, and trip
  • Optimize aircraft and crew routings using sophisticated software
  • Send detailed trip itineraries to flight crews
  • Flight follow all Executive Air Share fractional and managed aircraft
  • Arrange trip logistical and service items as necessary to support client and crew
  • Arrange for landing and over-flight permits, clearances, ground handling, security needs, customs for domestic and international destinations
  • Provide required documentation for and communicate with various government agencies for domestic and international destinations, including Customs and Immigration as applicable
  • Coordinate aircraft movement in concert with the Pilot in Command to ensure that all airspace and airport restrictions are complied with, and to ensure that all aircraft support services are available and notified
  • Reduce operating costs while maintaining high service levels
  • Advanced planning for aircraft and flight crew, including aircraft schedule demand and crew training
  • Provide executive level customer service to internal and external customers
  • Night and weekend on-call is required and should be expected

Qualifications

4-year college degree preferred.

Prior business/executive aircraft scheduling experience preferred, but will train an ideal candidate without prior experience.

Preferred knowledge and understanding of FAA Part 135, 91 and 91K regulations.

High energy levels are needed for this fast-paced position.

Dispatch license preferred but not required.

Line Service Technician - Buffalo, NY

Job Purpose:

To perform aircraft ground operations and fueling procedures safely and reliably, provide outstanding customer service, clean aircraft and hangars to company standards and assist aircraft mechanic in performing aircraft servicing duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Executes aircraft towing procedures.

  • Passes initial and recurrent training exams.
  • Follows safe and alert towing capabilities.
  • Ensures proper reporting procedures for accidents.

Conducts refueling procedures.

  • Reviews pilot and maintenance dept. fuel order and ensures correct total.
  • Completes paperwork for fuel tickets.
  • Passes initial and recurrent line service training exams.
  • Follows safety procedures established by departmental policies and federal regulations.
  • Reports errors, malfunctions or fuel spills as required.
  • Follows correct procedures in disposing of hazardous wastes.
  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly inspections on fuel servicing equipment.

Cleans aircraft and hangar and assists in customer lounge cleaning.

  • Completes basic cleaning to company standards.
  • Assures overall cleanliness and aircraft stocking immediately following aircraft arrivals and prior to departures.
  • Operates floor cleaning equipment in hangar and insures hangar and ramp area are always clean, orderly and free from FOD.
  • Operates all equipment safely and properly.
  • Removes CIP and performs lav service immediately after aircraft arrives.
  • Insures passenger lounge is kept neat & orderly.

Performs customer service tasks.

  • Meets and greets customers.
  • Completes customer requests for various services.
  • Communicates status of items to other office personnel.

Provides customer assistance.

  • Marshalls departing & arriving aircraft safely.
  • Assists boarding and deplaning of passengers.
  • Promptly responds to customer requests, assists with baggage and vehicle movement and any customer requests.
  • Treats customers courteously and professionally.

Performs other duties and assignments, as required.

Qualifications:

Requires a high school education or GED and a valid driver’s license and good driving record. 3 to 5 years prior line service experience required.  Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
