Executive AirShare Adds Phenom 100 to Dallas Love Field

DALLAS and KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 19, 2009 --- Less than three years after basing its first aircraft in the Lone Star State, fractional aircraft ownership company Executive AirShare today announced that it has added an Embraer Phenom 100 entry level jet aircraft to its growing fleet of aircraft serving business aviation users in the Metroplex.

In addition to the new Phenom 100, which will be based at Dallas Love Field (DAL), Executive AirShare operates a Beechcraft Super King Air 350 at Love Field and a Phenom 100, Beechjet 400A, Super King Air 350 and King Air C90B at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (FTW).

Executive AirShare's wholly owned subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, manages five aircraft at Love Field, and six aircraft at Meacham. Combined, Executive AirShare and Executive Flight Services have a fleet of 17 aircraft, 27 employees in Texas, and maintain office, hangar and maintenance facilities, as well as a full-time staff of pilots, at both Meacham and Love Field.

"It has been our observation that the recession has not affected the business aviation industry in Texas as dramatically as it has in other states," said Executive AirShare Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Taylor. "Executive AirShare has been able to grow despite challenges by offering a superior experience and outstanding value for executives seeking the time-saving benefits and convenience that business aircraft offer."

Taylor said that Executive AirShare's regional fractional aircraft ownership program, in which aircraft are based at airports near their owners and are available to owners on a "per day" basis, more closely replicates the benefits of full ownership at a lower cost, while eliminating the built-in expense of "deadheading" (repositioning aircraft) associated with the national fractional programs.

"The speed and low operating costs of the Phenom 100 aircraft have been a huge hit with our shareowners who are seeking ways to make the most of their time and their aircraft investments," adds Keith D. Plumb, Executive AirShare president and chief operating officer. "We see tremendous opportunity-particularly in Texas-because the national fractional ownership programs are simply not able to incorporate entry level jet aircraft into their inefficient business models."

Executive AirShare recently held open house events in Austin and Houston to introduce aviators in those Texas cities to the comfort and performance of the Phenom 100 aircraft, which is powered by dual Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E turbofan engines, has a range with four occupants of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 kilometers or 1,356 miles) with NBAA IFR reserves and is capable of flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 m) and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.70 or 390 knots.

Founded in 2001, Executive AirShare operates a fleet of late-model jet and turboprop aircraft serving owners throughout the Central United States. As one of the nation's largest regional fractional aircraft ownership companies, Executive AirShare offers businesses and individuals the benefits of corporate aircraft without the expense and hassle of managing their own flight operations. Executive AirShare is based in Kansas City, Mo., and also operates out of Wichita, Kan., Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla., Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.

The company currently operates a fleet of 19 aircraft-five Embraer Phenom 100s, four Beechjet 400As, five King Air 350s and five King Air C90Bs. Executive AirShare holds orders for an additional 39 Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft and six orders for Phenom 300 light jet aircraft, making Executive AirShare the only established fractional aircraft ownership company to offer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircraft.

Executive AirShare also offers aircraft management and charter services through its subsidiary, Executive Flight Services.
