Executive AirShare Begins 2010 as World's Leading Operator of Embraer Phenom Aircarft

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 6, 2010 --- Executive AirShare today announced that the regional fractional aircraft ownership company and its wholly owned aircraft management subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, finished 2009 with eight Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft combined in its fractional program and managed fleet, as well as the first Phenom 300 aircraft delivered by the Brazilian manufacturer-solidifying the company's status as the world's leading operator of Phenom aircraft.

Executive AirShare expects to be the first company to operate Phenom 300 aircraft under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135, a distinction the company also holds for the Phenom 100 entry level jet aircraft.  Since April, Executive AirShare has logged more than 1,500 flight hours in the Phenom 100, and was the first established fractional to operate the Phenom 100 under FAA Part 91(k).

"Together, Executive AirShare and Executive Flight Services have increased the size of our fleet by 40 percent this year, despite a challenging economy," said Executive AirShare Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Taylor. "Our success is due in large part to our efficient regional business model, which enables us to offer shares in the Phenom 100 entry level jet aircraft and deliver a level of service that most closely replicates the benefits of full ownership."

"Our aircraft management program has enabled our pilots and maintenance crews to gain valuable experience on the Phenoms, as well as other airframes, while creating revenue opportunities for the aircraft owners," adds Keith D. Plumb, Executive AirShare president and chief operating officer. "We are excited to add the Phenom 300 to our fleet of managed aircraft, in anticipation of our adding Phenom 300s to our fractional program."

The Phenom 100 aircraft is powered by dual Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E turbofan engines, has a range with four occupants of 1,178 nautical miles (2,182 kilometers or 1,356 miles) with NBAA IFR reserves and is capable of flying at 41,000 feet (12,497 m) and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.70 or 390 knots.

Recently certified by the FAA, the Phenom 300 aircraft is powered by dual Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535-E turbofan engines, has a range with four passengers and two pilots of 1,971 nautical miles (3,648 kilometers or 2,267 statute miles) with NBAA IFR reserves and is capable of flying at 45,000 feet (13,716 meters) and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.78 or 453 knots.

"Embraer is confident that the Phenom 300 will add tremendous value to the Executive AirShare business model with its range, speed, runway performance and fuel economies, all of which were recently enhanced during the Certification campaign," says Ernie Edwards, the company's Vice President, Marketing and Sales, USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean - Executive Jets. "The Phenom 300 also raises the bar in terms of featuring unprecedented space and comfort for its passengers.
