KANSAS CITY, Mo., [November 14, 2007] --- Keith D. Plumb, [36] has been named president and chief operating officer of Kansas City, Mo.-based Executive AirShare, the company announced today. Plumb had previously served as executive vice president, chief operating officer and takes over the title of president from company founder Robert D. Taylor, who will continue to serve as the company's chairman and chief executive officer.
In his new role, Plumb will be responsible for all operations, sales and marketing of the company's business, which offers fractional ownership of business aircraft for companies based in Kansas City, Wichita, Tulsa, Dallas and Ft. Worth.
"Keith has been a vital asset in driving the growth of our company in the past five years," said Taylor. "This promotion is hard-earned and well-deserved and we look forward to Keith's continued leadership and vision for our company."
Plumb is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. and joined Executive AirShare in 2002 after serving as regional sales director, eastern U.S. for Piaggio America, Inc. He has also served as vice president - FBO operations for Executive Aircraft from 1998 to 2000. He began his career in aviation as a technical sales analyst for British Aerospace.
Plumb holds an FAA airline transport pilot certificate and is type rated in several jet aircraft and captain on the Super King Air 350, King Air C90B and is a certified flight instructor on single and multiengine aircraft.
Founded in 2001, Executive AirShare currently operates a fleet of 14 aircraft - four Beechjet 400As, four Super King Air 350s, five King Air C90Bs and one Beechcraft Baron.
